The original 80 series Goggle Guard® clip was developed in 2014 as a simple solution to secure goggles to a hard hat when not in use. The clip quickly gained popularity among industrial workers who were looking to stow various eye protection when getting on and off the job. Wondering where to place the extra pair when swapping between clear and shaded safety glasses resulted in misplaced glasses. Misplaced glasses resulted in workers doing the job without proper eye protection.
